GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS: Longest Crime Prevention Lesson 2018

ISHR adhered to the commemorative acts of the 70th Anniversary of the UDHR with the presentation of: GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS “LONGEST ORGANIZED CRIME PREVENTION LESSON” (2018) AN UNPRECEDENTED LECTURE DONE IN SPANISH TO A BILINGUAL AUDIENCE (SIMULTANEOUSLY TRANSLATED)
Dr. Alejandro Rebolledo successfully completed the “longest organized crime prevention lesson” in Transnational crime. He taught about 24 topics, on crime prevention, ranging from transnational crime, smuggling and falsification, Tax evasion, to human trafficking, migrant trafficking and corruption. For more than 24 hours 40 minutes he remained lecturing at the Miami Dade College North Campus, Conference Center. 642 students, members of the Human Rights Committee, faculty, staff, administrators, faculty participated throughout a period of 30 hours to achieved the record. Some of the Rules: 1. Qualified teacher 2. topics had to be related with organized crimes 3. detailed lesson plan had to be approved 4. Evidence of learning with questions, written tests 5. Any test had to take less than 5 minutes/ 1 per hour 6. 4 questions had to be asked per hour 7. Could not use videos longer than 5 minutes 8. Participants had to be attentive and could not stay for more than 4 hours 9. teacher had 5 minutes rest for each hour of lecture 10. 2 witness at any time. could not stay for more than 4 hours . Must rotate . 11. The event had to be filmed and live streamed during the entire event 12. 10 students minimum at any time At the final hour before establishing the record, Miss Sarah Casson World Records Manager for Latin America Guinness World Records compared and checked all the evidences presented and declared that a New Guinness World Records had been established: “The longest organized crime prevention lesson” This event was held in partnership with MDC North Campus School of Justice, International Solidarity for Human Rights and Rebolledo Consulting Group.
