Miami Dade College North Campus, School of Justice, has incorporated human rights education and learning into the lives of the new police academy students through the enhancement of student learning and engagement.

The new students of the police academy at MDC North received the Human Rights Class in a Box Workshop, and introduction to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

These students will become custodians of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and after graduation, as a policemen and policewomen, they will grant the rights of each citizens in the community.

International Solidarity for Human Rights is leader in the field of human rights education; ISHR’s pioneering work has laid the foundation for a new cross-disciplinary integration of international human rights into education.
