Human Rights Class in a Box Andorra

Class in a Box

From September 23rd to September 30th, 2017, the Directors of International Solidarity for Human Rights, Elizabeth Sanchez Vegas and Devorah Sasha, received invitations from the education authorities of the Principality of Andorra. They journeyed to the city of San Julia de Loria to conduct a pilot program on human rights at elementary and high schools. Additionally, they were welcomed by the University of Andorra to present the program to undergraduate students in the field of Education. The Human Rights Class in a Box presentations reached a total audience of 700 students, professors, and teachers.

Human Rights Class in a Box (HRCB) constitutes a workshop centered on human rights principles. Once delivered, it fosters heightened awareness, appreciation, and dedication to human rights education and advocacy within schools, colleges, or universities. The program instills values of respect, compassion, empathy, kindness, and non-discrimination among children, students, and educators alike. Importantly, this initiative serves as an integral component of the Organization’s broader antibullying campaign.
